WEEK IN BRIEF-26-31 July 2010

Quote for the Week:

“Iron rusts from disuse; stagnant water loses its purity and in cold weather becomes frozen; even so does inaction sap the vigor of the mind.”- Leonardo Da Vinci

This Quote is all about persistence and consistency. We have to keep using our talents and resources to the best possible extend. Success is like climbing up the ladder. Just because we accomplished one step it does not mean that our job is over. If we stop going further, we will end up being stuck draining our energy and focus. This is when persistence for a consistent performance helps in reaching our ultimate goal.

WEEK IN BRIEF-19-24 July 2010

Quote for the Week:

“Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.- Andre Gide

Thinking within the fixed framework or system might not help us to bring about new ideas and solutions. It mostly deprives us of new possibilities and ventures. We have to learn to “think out of the box” to bring out new ideas and innovations.
