Baby Bibin's Arrival

We want to shout it from the rooftops. Jisha (Faculty) has given birth to a beautiful baby boy in the wee hours of Tuesday morning. Bibin is jumping with joy, of course. There is a definite Baby Boom at IPSR Kottayam which was set off by Shiju the week before last. Well, as they say, the more the merrier. We welcome these new additions to the IPSR family.

മാവേലി വരവായി!

Its Onam once again and IPSR is all set to celebrate this festive occasion. Onam celebrations at IPSR will be held on Saturday, 29th August at our office. The celebrations will commence early in the morning with an 'Athappookkalam'. The pookkalam shall be ready by 9.30. It will be followed by an 'Onasadya' at 1 'O'clock. All are requested to participate in the Onasadya and ensure your presence on the occasion. Wish you all a Happy Onam !

Vidyarambam at IPSR

There was a Vidyarambham today at IPSR. Joby Jose's (former DEO & Accountant) second child was initiated into the world of learning by Dr. Mendus Jacob. A great tribute to Dr. Mendus Jacob from his former student!

Mummy Extraordinaire

The 84 year old Thressiamma, mother of T.D.Joseph Sir(our Promoter) and grandmother of Benila Mendus (our Course Director) was in the limelight recently when SBT honoured her on Mother's Day. This octagenarian has 16 children(10 sons and 6 daughters). Married into the Kottathil family in 1940 to K.J. Devassia, this ammachi is particular that all her family should get together on special days. The last gettogether counted 92 heads. Amazing, isn't it? We wish the Thressiamma-Devassia couple a long and happy life.

Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd

Some guys just don't tire of honeymooning. One such couple is our much-mentioned Krishnaraj and Radhika who scooted off to Munnar Hills for some R&R (Rest and Recreation). The May Day holiday, helped of course. The couple who wanted to escape the Vibrant IPSR paparazzi found a quiet little place in the Devikulam route called Autumn Peace. But news reached us somehow. While they were coming back from Munnar on Sat evening, they met Jify and Ginu at Muvattupuzha heading off to Munnar. We will soon be posting exclusive pictures of this escapade.

Competition for IPSRians

Hi Guys! Vibrant IPSR is hosting an Essay contest on My Most Interesting Experience at IPSR. The essay should not be less than 300 words. All entries should reach us on or before March 23rd 2009. You could mail your entries to ipsrian@gmail.com. Accurate English will not be a criterion for deciding the prizewinner. The winner will be judged on the basis of how interesting the article is. Please give your full name along with your connection to IPSR when you send your entry.
The First three winners prizes are Cash Awards of Rs. 501/-, Rs 350/- and Rs.200/- respectively.
