We all are aware that Mr. Arjun Venugopal, the Deputy Manager- Training and Corporate Services has always been proficient in work and has been awarded twice by IPSR, as Best Promising Employee of the year (2010) and Award of Excellence (2011).

But there are only few, who know that he is a trained Mridangam player for the last 14 years. He was 3 times winner in Kerala State Youth Festival and 5 times winner in Kottayam district youth festival. With regard to these accolades his interview was telecasted in Doordarshan and Surya TV. He has actively performed in many stage programs for more than 7 years. He has received award from the singing legend, Dr. K.J Yesudas for his exceptional talent in Mridangam in a show hosted by the legend in remembrance of his father. 

He has played for All India Radio and represented Kerala for a musical scholarship hosted by A.I.R.

Apart from music; his passion is in films, not just watching and forgetting it but by reviewing, interpreting and analyzing each and every bit of it. He is an official movie reviewer in www.jeevan4u.com. He has also directed 2 short films and also manages the website www.startcamera.org, a short film portal.

Vivek

Mr. Vivek Nambiar has joined as Sr. Consultant-Technical Services (RHCE).He is a Bsc Physics graduate and has more than 7 years industry experience. He is a native of Thalassery.

Deepika

Ms. Deepika Krishnan has also joined as Assistant Administrative Manager and will be at our Trivandrum Branch. She is an MBA and a native of Trivandrum.

Sruthy

Ms. Sruthy. R. Nath has joined as HR Executive and has joined our administrative wing at Kottayam. She has experience in HR Generalist profile. She is a B-Tech and MBA. She is a native of Kottayam

Riya

Ms. Riya Raju has joined as Accounts Assistant at our Headquarters. She has done her Mcom and a native of Kottayam.

Jijimol

Ms. Jijimol Thomas has joined as Jr. Software Engineer at Kottayam. She is a BCA and a native of Kottayam.

Ms. Janu Jeevan has joined as Content Writer at Kottayam. She has experience in creative writing, translations, content development etc. She is an MBA and a native of Alleppey.

WEEK IN BRIEF; APRIL 22-28, 2012

• Spectacular triumph from Career Center 

Career Center conducted 19 Recruitment Drives in just 12 days ie from 17th April 2012 to 28th April 2012. It’s really a huge success. Many jobseekers were able to find out their aspiration.

Well done and let them conduct huge events in the coming days... 

• Training Programme 

Training Programme was arranged for the newly joined staff for one week. In the programme Dr. Mendus Jacob, MD & CEO addressed them about the company in general. The feedbacks from theparticipants are:

Nibin Sunny, Branch Manager, Ernakulam got married to Manjush on 22nd April 2012.

• Prayers 

Nitheesh of IPSR Kottayam branch has met with an accident and now he is hospitalized. Let us pray for him and wish him a speedy recovery. 

•  Newbies 

Dhanya Ramachanran has joined at the IPSR Kottayam branch in the Software Training Division. She is a B.Tech Graduate from College Of Engineering, Adoor and is a native of Changanacherry. She is OCPJP Certified. 

Jiji Sosamma Mathew has joined at the IPSR Kottayam branch in the Software Training Division. She is a B.Tech holder from Mount Zion College of Engineering, Kadamanitta and is a native of Kumbanad. 

Neethu Soman has also joined the same branch in the same department. She is also a B.Tech Graduate from Mount Zion College of Engineering, Kadamanitta. She is a native of Chegannur.

• Induction Programme 

One day Induction programme was held on 11/04/2012 at the Kottayam branch for the newly joined staff. There were 22 participants in the programme. The morning session was presided by Mr. Krishnaraj, PRO and he gave a class on “How to stay Positive in a tough Work Environment” . The afternoon session was presided by Dr. Mendus Jacob, MD & CEO and talked about the company in general.

Hi All,

Looks like no one was able to find out the person we had clued on in the last game of HR Quest. Well who it was: Ms.Anusha.M of the IPSR Calicut branch. She is a faculty in the Linux training division there.

• Wedding bells are ringing!!

Looks like January was a month of weddings here at IPSR. It all started with the wedding of Mr.Aneesh .P.V- Branch Manager, IPSR Trivandrum branch on 1st January, 2012 with Sangeetha. Next up was Ms.Akhila Ravi of the IPSR Career Centre Team who got married to Brite on 14th January. The last one on the list this month was Mr.Manoj.N.S-Team Lead of the eZcom division, IPSR Kottayam with Sreevidya on 29th January. Now that’s a great start for all these IPSRians this year!

Mrs.Ambily.P.S has joined the Software Training Division in the IPSR Edappally branch. She is a B.Tech and is a native of Ernakulam. She has more than 10 years’ experience in the teaching field.
