ONAM CELEBRATION @ IPSR HEAD OFFICE

IPSR Kottayam, celebrated Onam on 18^th August 2012. The Chief guest for the occasion was Fr. Peter Pulivelil, former Principal, KE College, Mannanam and Marian College, Kuttikkanam . His very presence enlightened the moment especially with his rich and thoughtful words; only a person with extensive reading and life experience could deliver it. Dr. Mendus Jacob, our CEO also awoke the inner humanity within us by emphasizing the need of providing the needy and under-privileged with help which we can afford. One of our Senior Manager, Mr. M.T Cherian  has taken the responsibility to carry out these CSR activities on behalf of IPSR.

TEAM PAZHAM

The competition spirit between the three teams, Pappadam, Pazham and Payasam was the highlight of the programme.

It all started with attapoo competition.

And the best pookalam was of Team Pappadam representing Training Division of Kottayam Branch. Second position was shared between Team Pazham and Team Payasam.  

Onasadhya

After the rich and delicious Onasadhya arranged by Mr. Arjun, Deputy Manager- Training & Corporate Services, we moved on to games like musical chair and sundarikyu oru pottu. Mr. Subin. V and Ms. Simi S of Team Payasam won the games respectively.

Then came onapattu competition, though all Teams sang well, Winners were Team Pappadam.

 Finally, the Mega Event “ Vadamvali” was conducted and this time Team Pazham went off with the credit.  They defeated both Teams to grab the Mega competition. 

The overall winners were TEAM PAPPADAM followed by Team Pazham and Team Payasam respectively.

The event was a success as all staff participated with great enthusiasm. We could see a true Vibrant Ipsrians at the Headquarters.

Congrats to the members of the Recreation Club for Organizing such a grand event and applauds for all Teams for their sportsman spirit throughout.

Newbies @ IPSR

Mr. Gopu. C . Nair has joined IPSR as Asst. Manager Operations. He is a graduate in Electronics and Computer Hardware.  He has a year of experience in marketing.

The IPSR that we see today, the heights accomplished is the hard work, determination and perseverance of all those people who has visualised its goals and stayed committed to the organisation despite the force of temptation of higher prospects. One such promising personality of the organization is Mr. Shiju Cherian, who has devoted a decade to the organization. His brainwave is the reason behind a healthy and spirited work force that we see in IPSR. Your promotion as the Senior HR Manager is truly an earned and well-deserved success.

Ipsrians are persistently using the 3 combinations of ability, motivation and attitude.... and this time it’s Mr. Imthiyas Mohamed.T.V, a newbie of our Calicut wing. He is already certified in CCNA and MCSA, and now he has been honoured with the reputed International Certification of RHCE.

We have a new face at the Calicut wing, Ms. Jincy K K, Jr.Consultant- Technical Services. She is a diploma holder and would be dealing with Java and Android. She is a native of Kannur. 

We welcome you to the IPSR family.

CEO's New Year Message

Dear IPSRians,

The gone year has been eventful with us marking progress in many a field. We had branded 2009 as a Year of Excellence. This focus helped us excel in many areas, especially in Open Source Technology - both training and development. We had also initiated many new ventures and scaled up our activities by taking on bigger and more challenging projects.

This year we plan to give a thrust to exploring new vistas, newer geographies in terms of business. In accordance, we have decided to brand year 2010 as a Year of Global Reach for IPSR. I applaud Team Calicut for suggesting the name in our annual meeting. We have to prepare ourselves both internally and externally to make our company a global player. I am getting a promising picture from our Team Leaders and Clients, so godwilling, we should be able to impact more businesses worldwide this year.

Our CEO's recent visit to Singapore for the Redhat Awards was rewarding. We got the RedHat AsiaPacific International Award'09. Mendus Sir stayed at the famed ShangriLa Hotel frequented by celebrities. American President Barack Obama is going to stay in the same hotel during his upcoming Singapore visit.

Campus Ambassadors Meet

A Campus Ambassador Meet was held at IPSR Kottayam on March 21st Saturday. The Meet was attended by Campus Ambassadors from RIT Pambady and Mount Zion College, Pathnamthitta. The students were smart and lively making the sessions a huge success. The forenoon session was led by Ms. Smitha Thomas and the afternoon session was led by Dr. Mendus Jacob, our CEO.

Seminar at BVM College Cherpunkal

The 3rd seminar in the IPSR Decennial Seminar Series at BVM College was a big hit. But missing in attendance was the Computer Science HOD Binu Sir who is away honeymooning. Nothing wrong with prioritising, I suppose!

IPSR has an academic tieup with the college and supports it in Projects, Certifications,Training, Recruitment Drives and Placements. The college was in the lime light recently when their BCA batch got a 100% pass and set a world record. IPSR is thrilled to share this training success with the college. This is the first time a college has been a test center and achieved a 100% pass. All this under the able guidance of their Principal Rev. Dr. Mathew Maleparambil. Now the MCA and BCA 2nd Year students are studying for the upcoming RHCE exams with a frenzy. Will they set another record?

Seminar at MES College, Erumely

Dr. Mendus Jaoob continued the IPSR Decennial Seminar Series at MES College, Erumely today. The active participation of Placement Officer Aneesh M Jose, Electronics Faculty Hari and IPSR Campus Ambassadors Monisha VP, Lamiya Rasheed and Shana Parveen contributed to the success of the seminar. We sincerely thank them for their hospitality.
