We would like to apologize to all our readers for not updating the Blog for Quite some time....There were some technical issues with the blog which was taking a lot of time of our work to update something in it...We were held up with some very urgent work that we could not dedicate our time towards vibrant....I know most of you would have noticed, but a few had actually asked me Why its not getting updated ...so to all of you out there...We will be making it regular from now onward...Enjoy Reading...
Deepika IT Educational Excellence Award
On
the occasion of their 127 years of functioning Deepika has announced
various awards in different categories, and our CEO Dr Mendus Jacob
has been conferred an award for IT Educational Excellence. The award
was distributed in a Function Organized by Deepika on 13th April 2013
at Kottayam Thirunnakkara Maidan. The Chief Guest for the Function
was Shri A K Antony (Hon National Defense Minister). Also Many
prominent personalities from the Socio- political-entertainment
scenario attended the function.
Orientation Program for Newcomers
Orientation
Program was organized for the newcomers at our headquarters on 10th
May 2013 and 11th May 2013. First day, the morning session was
delivered by Mr. Krishnaraj, PRO. He gave a talk on Motivation which
motivates each one to take a specific action, in regards to their
personal as well as professional growth. Afternoon session was
handled by HR Team; the session was fun-filled with games and
activities for team building, enhancing good communication etc.
Second day sessions was dealt by Dr. Mendus Jacob, CEO. He gave a
brief introduction about the company, its activities, values, work
culture etc. During the session the newcomers were asked to write
about their achievements. Let’s have a look on it.

He
joined Ipsr family as Jr.consultant Technical Services. He got his
B-tech degree from University college of Engineering, Thodupuzha. His
native place is Pala, in Kottyam district
Acheivements:
To get a RHCE Certification and to be a part of the world best RHCE
Faculties is considered as biggest achievement in his life

She
has joined Ipsr family as Senior Executive Internet Marketing. She is
a Btec(IT) graduate. She worked as systems engineer at Armia systems
Inc infopark kochin for 8months. Then she joined for MBA (Marketing).
Got campus placement at HDFC Bank and worked at HDFC Bank Tirur as PB
(Personal Banker)
Achievements:
She was selected as Best Manager, and was the winner of Brand war in
the South Indian Management Fest. Priya consider the happiness she
could bring for her teachers by winning these awards as her
achievement. She was the best outgoing student during her MBA Course.

She
joined Ipsr family as Assistant Manager Training and corporate
Services. She is an MBA (Marketing & IB) Graduate from Indian
Center For international business, Pune. She has four and a half
years of corporate experience which includes ITC Welcome Group, The
South Park as Marketing Executive, Technopark Crystal Computer
Graphics Singapore, and MCFAST Thiruvalla. She is from Kollam
district.
Achievements:
She won the 100% attendance award for her Post Graduation, when
classes were for 365 days a year!!!!! She has got good communication
skill and she was appreciated by her colleagues for her honesty at
work.

She
joined Ipsr family as Executive Training and corporate Services. She
got her PGDCA from Alphonsa College, Pala. Before joining us she was
a teacher at Sree Narayana Central School, Puthupally. Her native
place is Amayanoor, Kottyam.
Achievements:She
represented her school at State level Handball Championship. She was
the top Scorer in her college for PGDCA. She won prize for inter
School dance competition also.

is a Diploma holder in Telecommunications from E K Nayanar Memorial
Model Polytechnic College, Kalliassere. She is from Kanur district.
Achievements:
She is the first person to get job from her batch in her college.She
was able to maintain unity in her class during the art fest time and
she considers that as a great achievement.

She
is a Diploma holder in computer engineering from Govt.Polytechnic
College kothamangalam. Now is doing her BCA Computer Applications
from Bharathiar University Distance Education. Her corporate
experience as an SEO includes CENVEO Solutions Pvt Ltd as senior SEO
Analyst for 2 years, Rubtheweb as SEO Expert for 9 months. She is
from Perumbavoor.
Acheivements:
She was selected as best employee in her pervious organization. When
she began her career she didn’t had much knowledge about SEO but
now she is working as Senoir SEO Analyst. That is something which she
considers as a great acheivenment.

and android by herself. She tries to solve her problems by herself
and help others when they are facing any problems.

has joined ipsr as Deputy Manager Training and Corporate Services. He
is a person with long corporate experience which includes Wealth zone
Financial Services (India) Pvt Ltd, Reliance money. Reliance
Communication, ING Vysya Life Insurance. He took his PG from MG
University and BBA form Madras University. He is from kottyam.
What
he considers as his greatest achievement is that owing a house and
getting a good job. He was working as crisis Manager in his
organization while it was confronting with lot many issues and he was
successful in resolving it.

Nija
Joined Ipsr as Junior Consultant Technical Services. She took her MCA
from Rajagiri. She is from Thodupuzha.
Acheivements:
Nija won lot many prizes on sports events. And academically she was a
bright student and she was able to score first class from SSLC till
her MCA. She was associated with IT Feasts in her college.

She
is an MTech holder in Communication System. Before joining here she
was a lecturer at Mount Zion College of Engineering and Technology.
She is a native of Kottayam.
Achievements:
Eventhough she is an M.tech holder in Electronics she was able to
study .net and Php. She got many prizes in dance competition during
her school days.

a student at Loyola school is an achievement for him. He has won many
athletic awards and he used to be the Prefect while he was in school.
He is a Btech holder in Information Technology. Got his RHCE from
Ipsr and MBA from Ireland. His corporate experience includes Nancent
Technologies, Vanilla Networks in Technopark, Poornam Infovision and
worked in Ireland also. He was selected as Best employee in Vanilla
Networks and got special recognition from the client for the work he
did. He got “Best Bob award”( quality Rating) from Poornam for 8
consecutive months. He took three International Interviews.

- Back to where it all Began!
Year
2005 - As I walked past the college gates, I looked back. There were
only a few who haven't boarded the 'placements' flight. I was
categorized as 'jobless' after BTech. I wasn't sad; I had my best
'friend' along. Nobody wants to be alone! We knew there is always
'life' ahead of today.
Days
passed; together we discussed a lot of possibilities for the
unanswered 'future' - Pondered through a lot of ideas to reach
nowhere. Couple of months later, something did catch our 'attention'.
The red color by itself asked us to Stop and Research. Tagged the
next big thing by many, we investigated 'Red Hat'.
"Let’s
get one, so people notice us"; we said. Lights on! We did our
'RHCE' training from Trivandrum and were directed to 'IPSR Kottayam',
to take exams. That was an 'eye opener'! We sadly realized the fact
that - until we met 'IPSR', we only knew 'Where' to get a Red Hat
from; and not how to 'Wear' it. There weren’t many reasons to
believe so - The crash training led by Mr. Lijo was an absolute
'stunner'! The help, assistance and facilities provided by the
authorities were 'stupendous'! We were impressed. The results of the
very first exam batch of EL4 were out. 5 of 6 were certified
'Engineers', and the odd a certified 'Technician'. “Oh yeah! We
have an RHCE to our names”. Filled with joy, we thanked all
especially 'Mr. and Mrs. Mendus, Mr. Lijo, many others’, and left.
The
story never ended. 'Years' passed by. I had been in odd communication
with the 'IPSR family'. Meanwhile, between my friend and I, we drove
through 'Techno Park(2005)' to 'Cochin'/'Emirates(2006)' to
'London'/'Ireland Republic(2009)', and now back to where it all
began(2013) - Of course with a little bit of revamping here and there
though!
Year
2013 - Looking back, I knew 'IPSR' for the past 8 years. But today,
as an 'IPSR employee', I wish to make our relationship stronger and
healthier. That been said, I look forward to enjoy a fascinating
'future' with 'IPSR'. Cheers!
IT Career Guidance Programme and Selection for IT Internship
IIpsr
solutions ltd in association with Malayala Manorma conducted an IT
Career Guidance Programme on May 18th
2013 at Vyapara Bhavan Auditorium Kozhikode. Mr. Subin V (
Asst Manager- Thrissur Branch) was the coordinator of
the function It was a career orientation event on IT opportunity and
personal career guidance programme. Career counseling was done by Mr.
Shiju Cheriyan (Senior Manager-HR & Administration), Renjith Radhakrishnan, Swatha
Viswanath, Sreela K.
There
was an opportunity for the students to avail scholarship for
internship programme. Sessions were handled by Dr. Mendus Jacob
(CEO), Mr.Brijeesh George John (Manager Training and Corporate
Services). The students were given tips on how to tackle with arrear
papers, insufficient cut offs, academic gaps etc. the students were
also given a detailed information on the upcoming recruitment in
Linux Networking/ Software fields. Talent test was conducted by Mr.
Arjun V( Deputy Manager Training and Corporate Services) .Also many
prominent personalities like Mr Anup Kumar (Manager, Circulations-
Malayala Manorama) attended the function.Mega Job Fair @ Thrissur

Let me introduce you to this Week's Colleague- Varun Babu, Programmer , Web Division. Varun is a BCA degree holder from MES College, Erumely. He started his career with ipsr six years back as a Software programmer for the eZcom Department. He was the person who did the customization part for our eZcom Software. Later on he developed his skills and emerged as a programmer with the Web Division. He is part of the Deepika Project that we are completing at present. Hmmm, you have done real hard work Varun...impressive....
Varun, is a person with lots of talents...he is
a photographer and loves to keep clicking... am adding a few pictures
below.... Also he is interested in Gardening and has a well
maintained Garden at his home.. Sadly he did not give me any pictures to share
over here... Varun is also an expert in Mehandi Designs... He told me not to
share with you guys..but all the skills of our employees has to be shared...So
all Brides-to-be of ipsr keep this in mind...Our Varun Bhaiyya is Here..
One more thing about Varun is that he does not watch TV at all... Being a software engineer he truly shows justice to his job...he is addicted to computer!!! ie 24*7 he is with his computer...

Today we have a very beautiful person for our Column... Ms. Chethana Sreekesh. She is B tech Graduate and has been working with ipsr solutions ltd as Jr Software Engineer. Chethana hails from Ranni, ........
Chethana is a trained Classical Dancer in Bharathantyam, Kuchipudi and Mohiniyattam where Kuchipudi is her favorite.She has performed in many stages from her childhood .She has won prizes and grades in CBSE Sahodaya Youth festival and have been selected as the
Kalathilakam for 2005-2006 CBSE Sahodaya youth fest.She has also won prizes in
competitions held by NSS Cultural Fest(Nair Service Society). Apart from dancing she is also interested in Literature ,and has participated in poetry writing, recitation, extempore and have won the
state level second prize for Story writing conducted by Balajanasakhyam , a student’s
empowered organization. She was also selected as
the Union Convenor, Pathanamthitta zonal of Balajanasakhyam.
She is intrested in Listening music, watching movies and reading books. She was very much inspired by Paulo Coelho's Alchemist.
" A very friendly and helping personality" is what her colleagues say about her... " A person with lots of potential and a sincere employee is what her superiors has to say about her!!

"Aswamedha"- 23rd February 2013
Celebration of the splendid success earned by us through
endless hardships, consistent performances and the will power ….
Jc Brijesh Goerge John delivered the presidential address in
which he felicitated ipsr for the 10 international Red hat awards. He also
announced the various activities that will be conducted by JCI this year
Shri Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan then distributed the prizes
to the winners of Ipsr talent genie, Ipsr Talent Pool and Teen Cyber Camp. He
also inaugurated JCI website and the dream project “100 days 100 Jobs”. Due to
his tight schedule the home minister had to depart from the function.
Dr Mendus Jacob thanked JCI and the other dignitaries who
had arrived for felicitating ipsr with kind words. He spoke about the success
of ipsr and also spoke about the various CSR activities. He concluded his
speech by saying that it was his employees are the reason for this success.
Then ipsr was felicitated by the dignitaries who had arrived
for the function. The dignitaries included

And Yes It was indeed a Grand Celebration!!!!!!
Celebration of the splendid success earned by us through
endless hardships, consistent performances and the will power ….
Aswamedha the event organized to honor ipsr for the awesome
success in Red Hat was a great success. Ipsr auditorium was glowing with the dignitaries
on the dais. The function was a very memorable one for all ipsrians present
over here.
Going to the details….
The function stated by 4.00 PM with the arrival of the Chief
Guest Hon. Home minister of Kerala Shri Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan. It was
really great that he arrived well on schedule for the function. Jc Brijesh George John called the
function to order, which was followed by a welcome address by Jc krishnaraj.

Next up was the chief guest address by Hon. Home Minister. He
appreciated ipsr for the wonderful success that it has earned. He especially
mentioned Dr Mendus Jacob is indeed a great entrepreneur. He acknowledged the
services ipsr is doing to the society. The rise of ipsr from tier 2 towns is to
be highly appreciated. He also delivered the Memento on behalf of JCI to Dr
Mendus Jacob.

A glimpse of the session Mendus Sir had Taken in Trivandrum Branch...
"What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.”
It was a very happy moment for IPSRians to share the joy of consistently winning an award from REDHAT for 10 years.To share this happiness with our students Mendus Sir arranged a session with the students at IPSR TVM.The session started off at 10 in the morning and ended by 1.30
The session was mainly focused on the highlighting features of what IPSR provides to our students.The add on features like online aptitude training,intership programmes,arranging interviews for students were discussed.Students were highly inspired by the record track of IPSR in REDHAT.
It was an encouargment for many when a token of appreciation was given to the students who secured the highest marks in aptitude tests.This raised a keen interest in all other students to attend the aptitude tests on a regular basis.
The session did make a difference on many of the students and as a reult of that a student Mohammed Nithin who had joined for Software course changed to RHCE after being inspired by the session.
After the session, though so many days have passed,we are still happy to hear frequently from the students who attended the sesion... the keywords stated by Mendus Sir,”If you have a passion and if you are hardworking you will reach your goal. Have a passion in your life.Have a passion on the technology you learn”.Well this itself explains the impact of the session.
