CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION @ IPSR
Christmas
was a day when a poor homeless family was searching for a shelter to
give birth to a child who was later called Jesus. And then few
shepherds helped them to give a shelter they needed. This x'mas we
IPSRIANS tried to be shepherds of humanity and did our bit to help
Mr. Rejimon with our charity.
Rejimon K, a native of Kanjirapally, Kottayam district Kerala is a manual laborer . He has been bedridden for the past few years since he
suffered a spinal injury past falling from a tree. He has been under
the treatment of Dr. P S John, Kottayam for the last several years.
He is showing some signs of improvement as he can now move around on
a wheel chair. The doctor feels that he maybe able to get well after
the full course of treatment, about 4 injections more is yet to be
completed.
The
situation at the home front is not very favorable as his wife who
works in a textile shop at Kottayam can be with him only for 2 days
in a month. She works on a tight schedule, from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm.
To take care of her family. Her earnings will in no way meet the
medical expenses, and other family expenses including food and
education for their children. He has two sons .The older one is
Jishnu Rejimon who is a topper in 10th standard and presently is
studying in a school near their maternal home. He stays along with
his grand parents. The younger son Krishna Rejimon a 2nd standard
student stays with his father at home. Needless to say the present
situation has been very traumatic for the kids.
The
prolonged treatment has cost him about 15- 20 lakhs of rupees and
landed him in extreme debt. The immediate requirement of this family
is Rs.40, 000/- for completing the present treatment .
Mr.
Rejimon came to celebrate x'mas with us at our Headquarters at
Kottayam. He returned with a smile of happiness through our gift. IPSR
was able to collect Rs.15,000/- and was given to him with love. The
amount was collected from all the branches of IPSR.

Hope
the gift turns out to be of such use that he shall return back to
normal health as soon as possible. Thus be delighted that we helped a
man in need last year and hope God shows us ways to help others in
this 2014 year also.
