WEEK IN BRIEF: 21-26 February, 2011

Quote for the Week

“I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both hands; you need to be able to throw something back.”  - Maya Angelou

Problems and misfortunes are a part of life. But that doesn’t mean that we are supposed to simply sit there and accept everything that comes at us just like that and not do anything about it. We cannot live a happy life by accepting blame for all the problems or negativities that happen to us. Allowing the problems or negative thoughts to control us will only lead to our confidence being drained away. So no matter what happens in our life, we have to ‘bounce back’ with full zest and keep moving forward.

WEEK IN BRIEF- 14-19 February,2011

Quote for the Week

Criticism may not be agreeable, but it is necessary. It fulfils the same function as pain in the human body. It calls attention to an unhealthy state of things. –Winston Churchill

Criticism can be constructive or demeaning. It depends on how we take it. At times criticisms can throw light on a negative aspect of ours which we had never known. Honest criticisms can help bring about a positive change in us. They can also be taken up as suggestions for initiating a new system or strategy. So criticisms can play an affirmative role in our lives. Always keep an ear out for criticisms to understand whether it is helpful or not. If not, just ignore it.

News@ IPSR:

  • eZcom’s legacy:

eZcom has been IPSR’s first software product. It is infact the baby of a team of software developers who had been with IPSR right from the year of 2000. It was developed in Kerala by our software development team within a span of five years making it an indigenous software. We can proudly say that eZcom has completed more than 6 years into its existence as a leading Accounting software. Considering its strong presence as a user-friendly Accounting package, the eZcom brand has been playing well in the market with more than 1000 installations to its credit. One of the facts worth highlighting in this scenario is that a significant number of clients have been using eZcom for around 4 years. Of these, 5 clients have gone into their 4th installation. It is also great to know that more than 12 clients have taken the 3rd installation. All this again and again solidifies eZcom as a user-friendly product ensuring pure customer satisfaction.
Of course the credit of it all goes to the eZcom team involving the technical, customer support and marketing members for putting up a good work all these years.

WEEK IN BRIEF: 7-12 February, 2011

Quote for the Week

Be a first rate version of yourself, not a second rate version of someone else” - Judy Garland

This is such a powerful quote that reflects the importance of being YOU. Having role models to follow or someone to admire is a good thing but the extent to which they influence you should stop at learning something good from them and applying it in your life. We should be able to maintain the innate unique qualities that we possess and try to refine them. Mere imitations will not provide the real result you want especially in the long term. The best way to avoid that is to BE YOURSELF.

WEEK IN BRIEF 31 January - 5 February, 2011

Quote for the Week:

“What you dislike in another take care to correct it in yourself”- Thomas Sprat

People often tend to look into the faults of others though they have the same flaws. We try to correct people doggedly neglecting what we are. We should understand that this makes us contemptuous rather than respected in our family and society. So, recognize your faults and mend it. How can we find another person at fault when we have the same flaws? We do not have the right to correct others unless we are faultless. Be judicious in your thoughts and actions!

IPSR New Corporate Annex

We are immensely happy to announce that IPSR has purchased a new building in Kottayam just next to the Corporate Office. This is yet another milestone that is to be added in the annals of IPSR history. The newly purchased building is proposed to be developed as the IPSR IT Tower, thus asserting the presence of the IPSR brand in the “Akshara Nagari” of Kerala on a much larger scale in the coming future.

The new IPSR Corporate Office Annex will provide the much-needed space for setting up more of the Training & Software Development labs at Kottayam. A new fully furnished hi-fi showroom for the Hardware Division is also to be put up in this building thereby helping the aggressive promotion of IPSR Hardware Services.
