The TALENT GENIE 2010 MEGA FINALS conducted on May 11th at IPSR Kottayam was exclusively a different endeavor at multiple levels. 350 students from different parts of Kerala participated in the first round of Talent Genie program and later on through successive rounds sorted out the12 best students for the Mega Finals. The Talent Genie 2010 is becoming a successful learning-win program among youngsters which helps them to develop a strong sense of conviction in their life and career.
A good judging Panel Lead by Mr. Sabu Augustine, Vice Principal of Marian College, Kuttikkanam, Dr. Mendus Jacob, CEO, IPSR Solutions ltd and Ms. Smitha Thomas, a Senior HR Consultant evaluated the performance of each candidate. The final session had 5 rounds in which students were urged to give their utmost in a healthy competitive environment.
At first the students were put in a meticulous and rigorous interview. The second round was a programming test where the students were asked to solve certain objective type programming related questions. Thereafter a group event was arranged to check the team work and attitude of the students. At the fourth round the contestants were asked to write further suggestions for the improvement of the Talent Genie program in the coming years. In the afternoon, a suspense event was arranged. The session was almost like a STRESS INTERVIEW which was aimed to check the outlook of students and how much they could bear with pressure and strain in the real time. The students were individually rapid fired by a good team lead by Ms. Smitha Thomas, Mr. Shiju Alex & Mr.Krishnaraj. The program was concluded exactly at 4PM ending the whole days bliss and buzz.
The results of the Talent Genie 2010 Mega Finals will be announced in the month of June.
