WEEK IN BRIEF: 14-19 March, 2011

Quote for the Week:
“Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. And Today? Today is a gift. That's why we call it the present.” - Babatunde Olatunji
Brooding over our past or worrying about our future will not help us in any way. We will only be stuck in a rut if we do that. There’s no point in trying to change our past or apprehending about our future, both of which are not under our control. Let TIME take its course and progress in full swing. All we have to do is be thankful for the present moments that we have NOW with us. Make this day YOUR DAY by living every moment of it to the fullest, as if there is no tomorrow.

WEEK IN BRIEF: 7-12 March, 2011

Quote for the Week
“The ultimate inspiration is the deadline”- Nolan Bushnell

Deadlines are the culmination point of all projects and assignments. We have all been dreading that ‘last date’ to submit an assignment or complete a project right from our school days. But Nolan Bushnell brings out a completely different meaning to deadlines. It is the deadline that pulls us through all that laziness and procrastination. Deadlines keep us on a time-based plan to finish each and every task. So the next time you are given a deadline, take it up as a challenge.

WEEK IN BRIEF: 1-5 March, 2011

Quote for the Week

"The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather in a lack of will." - Vincent T. Lombardi

How can we tell if a person is successful or not? Every successful person will get through all obstacles blocking their path and reach their ultimate goal... Successful people find a solution to each and every problem they face... And so forth. So does this mean that success comes only to a person who has strength, knowledge and super powers? Not at all! It is nothing but pure WILLPOWER that will make any person successful. Every person with power need not necessarily succeed unless he or she has the “will” to move forward and to keep trying no matter what strikes back at them. So we can always keep in mind that ‘Where there is a will, there is way’.
