A Word from the CEO: Applause and Purpose

Our CEO opened the meeting by congratulating every IPSRian for embracing the Urja mindset — a structured, impactful approach to change management. He explained how Urja helps us focus on measurable outcomes and why this shift is essential for driving sustainable growth.

The results of Q1 showed the power of team-driven growth. Looking forward, Q2 will focus on strengthening individual contributions to complement the team’s progress.

Q1 Urja Awards – Finalists Announced

Recognition and appreciation were a highlight of the meeting, as the CEO announced the Q1 Urja Award finalists. These individuals and teams were acknowledged for their exceptional contributions, innovation, and measurable impact during the quarter.

The measurable impact created by these finalists perfectly reflected the spirit of Urja and set a high bar for all of us moving forward.

What’s Next: Q2 with You at the Centre

Looking ahead, the CEO called on every IPSRian to take ownership of their individual growth by drafting Q2 plans at the earliest. Each plan should outline:

* Three to five key tasks you aim to achieve

* Weekly task alignment with your team leader

* Metrics you will track to monitor progress

This quarter is an opportunity for each individual to build on team success and deliver personal excellence.

The meeting featured an inspiring talk by our Director, Dr. Suresh Nambathothiri, who shared his insights on staying relevant in a dynamic environment. Quoting his former employer, Ratan Tata, he reminded us:

A simple but profound message that resonates with the Urja philosophy.

Joby Varghese still on Foot!

Mr. Joby Varghese, Consultant in the Microsoft Training Division of IPSR, Kottayam is still on his foot with a sparkling success in the MCSE exam. Mr. Joby is also having other IT certifications such as CCNA and RHCT, which makes him now 3 in 1 with each certification of Microsoft, Cisco and Red Hat.

Justine George and Sojan V M get RHCSS Certified

IPSR racks up the number of RHCSS faculty by producing 2 more RHCSS, Mr. Justine George and Mr. Sojan V M making a total of 5 RHCSSto the list of RHCSS certified. Justine George is the Manager of Technical Services and Sojan VM is a Consultant in the IPSR Technical Services. Reji Cyriac, Sarath Sasendran and Mojan K Iype are the other faculty members who earlier got RHCSS certified. IPSR always prides in having Excellent faculty. We wish you all the success!!

Jeevan gets WebRatna

Jeevan will soon receive the Web Ratna Award for Outstanding Youth Portal from Kerala Samskarika Vedi. He has single-handedly developed the portal Jeevan4u that is a favourite among Indian Youth across the World. He will receive the award which includes a prize amount of Rs. 15001 in April at the Official Awards Ceremony.

CSS Mania is a renowned website that showcases CSS implementations on the web.http://cssmania.com/. It is very joyous to note that one of the creations by IPSR has been featured in it for the first time.The website is http://www.stthomasartgallery.org/ (St Thomas Art Gallery) designed by Muhammed Riyas, which was launched only 3 days back.The site has been featured because it is a 100% CSS implementation. The entry has already bagged 3 votes.

Smitha Thomas's Christmas Books

DC Books Children's Imprint Mango Books published Smitha Thomas's adpatations of Oscar Wilde Stories. Both stories, The Selfish Giant and The Happy Prince are stories that tell the tale of unselfish love underlined by sacrifice and are great reads for the Christmas Season. It goes without saying that they are Children's Books.

Jis gets RHCE Certified

Jis Thomas, IPSR's Calicut Course Coordinator got RHCE Certified recently. She achieved this after she understood the importance of the certification while she worked at IPSR. Jis will soon be leaving for her placement at Wipro. Her assignment at IPSR was temporary.

The Web Marketing Team seems to be driven these days. First Ginu lands a great E-business deal with QRS which will kickstart our Online Shopping Cart Solutions. Ginu has also bagged a Gold SEO Package from QRS.
Biju is shining too. Scintillating, in fact. He has bagged a CMS Project with Lion's Club as well as effected the First Sale for our Online Exam Software.
