The Talent Genie Programme at College of Applied Sciences, Vadakkancherry was roaring success. IPSR received a great reception at the college and it has been the best Talent Genie programme so far in terms of audience participation.The college is lucky to have the multi-talented Pradip Somasundaran as Principal. A playback singer of great repute (Check out his blog), he made us all feel special with his warmth and hospitality. The HOD of the Computer Science Department, Begi K. Mathew deserves special credit for arranging the smooth running of the programme.
The College of Applied Sciences, Vadakkancherry is Govt. of Kerala Undertaking (Managed by IHRD) affiliated to the University of Calicut. The college nurtures a talented lot and this was evident in the students’ performance in the impromptu quiz conducted by IPSR CEO, Dr. Mendus Jacob. Some students like Vino Jose, Sajan P.S. and Sunil S. were knowledgeable enough to answer multiple questions.
Vino Jose is a B.Sc Electronics student and interested in Networking. He likes to keep abreast with the latest developments in IT. Sajan P.S is interested in Networking. His hobbies are chatting and music. Sunil S. is interested in IT related projects. All three are final year students.
The Computer Science Department Students have a website, bdonor.com that promotes blood donorship.
