The 84 year old Thressiamma, mother of T.D.Joseph Sir(our Promoter) and grandmother of Benila Mendus (our Course Director) was in the limelight recently when SBT honoured her on Mother's Day. This octagenarian has 16 children(10 sons and 6 daughters). Married into the Kottathil family in 1940 to K.J. Devassia, this ammachi is particular that all her family should get together on special days. The last gettogether counted 92 heads. Amazing, isn't it? We wish the Thressiamma-Devassia couple a long and happy life.
