Orientation Program for Newcomers

Orientation Program was organized for the newcomers at our headquarters on 28^th September 2013. The session was dealt by Dr. Mendus Jacob, CEO. He gave a brief introduction about the company, its activities, values, work culture etc. During the session the newcomers were asked to write about their achievements. Let’s have a look on it.

Rohini S Babu

 She joined IPSR family as Jr. Consultant Technical Services. She took her B. Tech in Electronics and communication Engineering from Karpagam Institute of Technology, Coimbatore. She is basically from Kottayam.

Achievements: Rohini got many prizes for dance competition and drama during her schooling. She got Best Project Award for her final year project in B. Tech. Her articles got published in blogs. She is very punctual and a person who always try to keep her promises. Her friends says that she is very supportive as well as caring person.

Sreeja S Nair

She joined IPSR family as Jr. Consultant Technical Services. She took her B. Tech (Computer Science) from Mount Zion College of Engineering . She is basically from Thiruvalla.

Achievements: The foremost blessing she got is her parents. Her mentality to help others is what is considers as her greatest achievement. She is a recipient of Prime Minister's Scholarship !!!! Her first job and first salary is also an achievement in her life.

Vishnupriya K V

She joined IPSR family as Jr. Consultant Technical Services. She took her MCA from Marthoma Institute of Information technology, Ayur and Bsc (Computer Science) from University Institute of Information technology, Adoor. She is basically from Kottarakkara.

Achievements: From a shy, frightened teenager she became an active girl by the time she joined for her MCA course and that is what she consider as greatest achievement in her life. She started organizing events and participated in all those extra curricular activities. She was selected as overall champion. She was also the college topper.

Cyriac Xavier

He has joined IPSR family as Administrative Executive. He took his Bsc Electronics from Mar Augusthinose College, Ramapuram and Ms c Electronics from CUSAT. Cyriac is basically from Kottayam.

Suneesh Kumar

Suneesh has joined IPSR family as Jr. Consultant Technical Services. He took BCA from St. Antony's College and Charitable Society. He have two years of experience in Foton Info Solutions and 9 months experience with HCL Info system Ltd.

Mary Sebastian

Mary joined IPSR family as Jr. Consultant Technical Services. She took her B. Tech from AMS Engineering College Tamil Nadu. Her native place is kannur.

Jeena K Kumar

She has joined IPSR family as Web Designer. She took her Professional Dipolama in Animation, visual effects & multimedia from Keltron Animation Center. She is from Tirur.

Achievement : In 2007 she participated in Chembai Sangeetholsavam, Annual Carnatic music festival and she was the only person who got such an opportunity from her place that time. She have performed in more than 50 music stage shows. As a web designer she is very proud to say that she did more than 50 on line websites. The greatest achievement in her life is ofcourse her parents. She believes that it is theirs prayers and efforts that helped her to reach these heights.

Archana A

She has joined IPSR family as Junior Consultant Technical Services. She took her B. Tech (Electronics and Communication) from Calicut University. She is basically from Kozhikode.

Achievement :

Archana is a good singer as well as a dancer and she have participated in district and state level youth festivals and had won many prizes. She is a person who values truthfulness and who always tries to keep her words. Archana believes that she is a good daughter and that is the greatest achievement. She is a person who always carries a smile on her face and she appreciate herself for that because she can spread happiness to others by her sweet smile. 

Archana U

Arcahana took her B.Tech from Bharath Institute of Science & Technology. She is from Calicut.

Achievement :

She is person with passion for photography and she got her own Face book page 'Archana Photography. Archana got a smiling face and she believes she the positive energy within her help her to turn many negative situations to positive one. In her previous company she was able to meet her individual as well as team goals. She got overall championship in school level for athletics.

Anish V K

Anish V K has joined IPSR family as Junior Consultant Technical Services. He took his Master of Science from Mahatma Gandhi University. He is a native of Palakkad.

Achievements: Becoming a Post Graduate in Electronics is an achievement for Anish. He is an emphatic person and that is what he values the most.

Asha M V

She has joined IPSR family as Software Engineer. She took her Diploma in Computer engineering from Government Polytechnic College, Kothamangalam. She has worked as Software Engineer at Pumex Technologies. She is a native of Idukki district.

Achievements:

She was the only person from her college to get a campus placement out of 67 students in her batch. Even though she was fresher she got higher scores in performance evaluations at her first company. Becoming a Software Engineer at IPSR and taking her Teachers for a lunch when she got her first salary is a great achievement for Asha. She is not a trained dancer still have participated in State level Thiruvathira Competition.

Varun Mohan

He has joined IPSR family as Junior Consultant Technical Services. Varun Took his B. Tech degree from Dr. Navalar Nedunchezhiyan College of Engineering . He is a native of Thrissur District.

Achievements: When saying about his achievements he shares an incident from his life from which he got much confidence. The way he helped a lady who fell down into a canal and how he bring it to media attention which made the PWD division to take immediate action. That gives him confidence that a small voice we raise can make big changes and we should not confine ourselves to our personal boundaries. We are part of this society and we have certain responsibility towards it.

Varun and his team won college level Cricket Championship during his Engineering course. An appreciation he got from a celebrity for a photograph he took values him a lot. The way he was able to take care of his family and especially his sister is the greatest achievement in his life.

Sonia Pauly

She has joined IPSR family as Junior Software Engineer. She took her B. Tech ( IT) form College of Engineering Kallooppara, Thiruvalla. She has worked as Idea Team Coordinator at BGA Associates. Thrissur and also as Center Head of IT Computer Mission, Thrissur. She is a basically from Thiruvalla.

Achievements: Her family is what she consider as a greatest achievement in her life. She was topper in her school for her SSLC. She got a merit seat for her B. Tec Course. Because of her commitment and achievements she got promoted in her previous jobs. She is a person who never shows any bias and tries not to hurt any one.

Jithu T

He has joined IPSR family as Junior Software Engineer. He did his MCA from AMS College Kottayam. He is a native of Moolavattom.

Achievements: He got an opportunity to participate in Republic Day Parade at New Delhi. Jithu will never deny help to anyone who reaches him and that is what he consider as greatest achievement in his life.

Juby Michael

Juby have joined IPSR family as Assistant Manager – HR. Juby is a native of Pala, and has more than 4.5 years of experience in HR which includes People Plus and Assyst. She is a Post Graduate in Management from CMS College, Coimbatore.

Deepika IT Educational Excellence Award

 

 

On the occasion of their 127 years of functioning Deepika has announced various awards in different categories, and our CEO Dr Mendus Jacob has been conferred an award for IT Educational Excellence. The award was distributed in a Function Organized by Deepika on 13th April 2013 at Kottayam Thirunnakkara Maidan. The Chief Guest for the Function was Shri A K Antony (Hon National Defense Minister). Also Many prominent personalities from the Socio- political-entertainment scenario attended the function. 

Orientation Program for Newcomers

 

Orientation Program was organized for the newcomers at our headquarters on 10th May 2013 and 11th May 2013. First day, the morning session was delivered by Mr. Krishnaraj, PRO. He gave a talk on Motivation which motivates each one to take a specific action, in regards to their personal as well as professional growth. Afternoon session was handled by HR Team; the session was fun-filled with games and activities for team building, enhancing good communication etc. Second day sessions was dealt by Dr. Mendus Jacob, CEO. He joined Ipsr family as Jr.consultant Technical Services. He got his B-tech degree from University college of Engineering, Thodupuzha. His native place is Pala, in Kottyam district

Acheivements: To get a RHCE Certification and to be a part of the world best RHCE Faculties is considered as biggest achievement in his life

 

 

Priya Anna Stephanose

She has joined Ipsr family as Senior Executive Internet Marketing. She is a Btec(IT) graduate. She worked as systems engineer at Armia systems Inc infopark kochin for 8months. Then she joined for MBA (Marketing). Got campus placement at HDFC Bank and worked at HDFC Bank Tirur as PB (Personal Banker)

Achievements: She was selected as Best Manager, and was the winner of Brand war in the South Indian Management Fest. Priya consider the happiness she could bring for her teachers by winning these awards as her achievement. She was the best outgoing student during her MBA Course.

Priya Ann Vinod

She joined Ipsr family as Assistant Manager Training and corporate Services. She is an MBA (Marketing & IB) Graduate from Indian Center For international business, Pune. She has four and a half years of corporate experience which includes ITC Welcome Group, The South Park as Marketing Executive, Technopark Crystal Computer Graphics Singapore, and MCFAST Thiruvalla. She is from Kollam district.

Achievements: She won the 100% attendance award for her Post Graduation, when classes were for 365 days a year!!!!! She has got good communication skill and she was appreciated by her colleagues for her honesty at work.

Jyothi Gopi

She joined Ipsr family as Executive Training and corporate Services. She got her PGDCA from Alphonsa College, Pala. Before joining us she was a teacher at Sree Narayana Central School, Puthupally. Her native place is Amayanoor, Kottyam.

Achievements:She represented her school at State level Handball Championship. She was the top Scorer in her college for PGDCA. She won prize for inter School dance competition also.

Bijina C

 

She is a Diploma holder in Telecommunications from E K Nayanar Memorial Model Polytechnic College, Kalliassere. She is from Kanur district.

Achievements: She is the first person to get job from her batch in her college.She was able to maintain unity in her class during the art fest time and she considers that as a great achievement.

Neethu Mohan

She is a Diploma holder in computer engineering from Govt.Polytechnic College kothamangalam. Now is doing her BCA Computer Applications from Bharathiar University Distance Education. Her corporate experience as an SEO includes CENVEO Solutions Pvt Ltd as senior SEO Analyst for 2 years, Rubtheweb as SEO Expert for 9 months. She is from Perumbavoor.

Acheivements: She was selected as best employee in her pervious organization. When she began her career she didn’t had much knowledge about SEO but now she is working as Senoir SEO Analyst. That is something which she considers as a great acheivenment.

Jyothi joined Ipsr family as Junior Software Engineer. She did her MSc (Computer Science) from IHRD,Payyapaddi . She have worked in ACS, Infopark.She is from Kottayam

Achievements: She is post graduated in Msc Computer Science. She studied ASP, .Net and android by herself. She tries to solve her problems by herself and help others when they are facing any problems.

Giby Joseph

Giby has joined ipsr as Deputy Manager Training and Corporate Services. He is a person with long corporate experience which includes Wealth zone Financial Services (India) Pvt Ltd, Reliance money. Reliance Communication, ING Vysya Life Insurance. He took his PG from MG University and BBA form Madras University. He is from kottyam.

What he considers as his greatest achievement is that owing a house and getting a good job. He was working as crisis Manager in his organization while it was confronting with lot many issues and he was successful in resolving it.

Nija Michael 

 

Nija Joined Ipsr as Junior Consultant Technical Services. She took her MCA from Rajagiri. She is from Thodupuzha.

Acheivements: Nija won lot many prizes on sports events. And academically she was a bright student and she was able to score first class from SSLC till her MCA. She was associated with IT Feasts in her college.

Aswathy Venu

She is an MTech holder in Communication System. Before joining here she was a lecturer at Mount Zion College of Engineering and Technology. She is a native of Kottayam.

Achievements: Eventhough she is an M.tech holder in Electronics she was able to study .net and Php. She got many prizes in dance competition during her school days.

Kichu Mubarak

Being a student at Loyola school is an achievement for him. He has won many athletic awards and he used to be the Prefect while he was in school. He is a Btech holder in Information Technology. Got his RHCE from Ipsr and MBA from Ireland. His corporate experience includes Nancent Technologies, Vanilla Networks in Technopark, Poornam Infovision and worked in Ireland also. He was selected as Best employee in Vanilla Networks and got special recognition from the client for the work he did. He got “Best Bob award”( quality Rating) from Poornam for 8 consecutive months. He took three International Interviews.

B2B - Back to where it all Began!

Year 2005 - As I walked past the college gates, I looked back. There were only a few who haven't boarded the 'placements' flight. I was categorized as 'jobless' after BTech. I wasn't sad; I had my best 'friend' along. Nobody wants to be alone! We knew there is always 'life' ahead of today.

Days passed; together we discussed a lot of possibilities for the unanswered 'future' - Pondered through a lot of ideas to reach nowhere. Couple of months later, something did catch our 'attention'. The red color by itself asked us to Stop and Research. Tagged the next big thing by many, we investigated 'Red Hat'.

"Let’s get one, so people notice us"; we said. Lights on! We did our 'RHCE' training from Trivandrum and were directed to 'IPSR Kottayam', to take exams. That was an 'eye opener'! We sadly realized the fact that - until we met 'IPSR', we only knew 'Where' to get a Red Hat from; and not how to 'Wear' it. There weren’t many reasons to believe so - The crash training led by Mr. Lijo was an absolute 'stunner'! The help, assistance and facilities provided by the authorities were 'stupendous'! We were impressed. The results of the very first exam batch of EL4 were out. 5 of 6 were certified 'Engineers', and the odd a certified 'Technician'. “Oh yeah! We have an RHCE to our names”. Filled with joy, we thanked all especially 'Mr. and Mrs. Mendus, Mr. Lijo, many others’, and left.

The story never ended. 'Years' passed by. I had been in odd communication with the 'IPSR family'. Meanwhile, between my friend and I, we drove through 'Techno Park(2005)' to 'Cochin'/'Emirates(2006)' to 'London'/'Ireland Republic(2009)', and now back to where it all began(2013) - Of course with a little bit of revamping here and there though!

Year 2013 - Looking back, I knew 'IPSR' for the past 8 years. But today, as an 'IPSR employee', I wish to make our relationship stronger and healthier. That been said, I look forward to enjoy a fascinating 'future' with 'IPSR'. Cheers!

IT Career Guidance Programme and Selection for IT Internship

ipsr solutions ltd in association with Malayala Manorma conducted an IT Career Guidance Programme on May 18^th 2013 at Vyapara Bhavan Auditorium Kozhikode. Mr. Subin V ( Asst Manager- Thrissur Branch) was the coordinator of the function It was a career orientation event on IT opportunity and personal career guidance programme. Career counseling was done by Mr. Shiju Cheriyan (Senior Manager-HR & Administration), Renjith Radhakrishnan, Swatha Viswanath, Sreela K.

There was an opportunity for the students to avail scholarship for internship programme. Sessions were handled by Dr. Mendus Jacob (CEO), Mr.Brijeesh George John (Manager Training and Corporate Services). The students were given tips on how to tackle with arrear papers, insufficient cut offs, academic gaps etc. the students were also given a detailed information on the upcoming recruitment in Linux Networking/ Software fields. Talent test was conducted by Mr. Arjun V( Deputy Manager Training and Corporate Services) .Also many prominent personalities like Mr Anup Kumar (Manager, Circulations- Malayala Manorama) attended the function.

Mega Job Fair @ Thrissur

 

IPSR in Association with Jyothi Engineering College, Cheruthuruthy ,Thrissur Conducted Mega Job Fair successfully for all degree/diploma/PG Students@ Thrissur on Saturday 25^th May 2013 at st.Thomas College Thrissur. More than 14 IT/ITES Core Companies participated. The major companies participated are Cabot Technology Solutions Pvt Ltd, Poornam Infovision, Bigshen Technologies, Firstsource, redlands, KgiSL, Hinduja Global solutions, Muziris Softech, ALLsec, Orion, Dunamis world,Eben Telecom Pvt Ltd, Kochar Etc.

Let me introduce you to this Week's Colleague- Varun Babu, Programmer , Web Division. Varun is a BCA degree holder from MES College, Erumely. He started his career with ipsr six years back as a Software programmer  for the eZcom Department. He was the person who did the customization part for our eZcom  Software. Later on he developed his skills and emerged as a programmer with the Web Division. He is part of the Deepika Project that we are completing at present. Hmmm, you have done real hard work Varun...impressive....

Varun, is a person with lots of talents...he is a photographer and loves to keep clicking... am adding a few pictures below.... Also he is interested in Gardening and has a well maintained Garden at his home.. Sadly he did not give me any pictures to share over here... Varun is also an expert in Mehandi Designs... He told me not to share with you guys..but all the skills of our employees has to be shared...So all Brides-to-be of ipsr keep this in mind...Our Varun Bhaiyya is Here..
One more thing about Varun is that he does not watch TV at all... Being a software engineer he truly shows justice to his job...he is addicted to computer!!! ie 24*7 he is with his computer...

Lets say what his colleagues have to say about him... Colleague 1" Varun Chettan is really sweet and helpful".. Colleague 2" Varun Chettan is very good friend" Colleague 3 " Varun is nice person" So many good things about you Varun...
