• Two more new members to the MCTS group

Sudheep E.I of the IPSR Calicut branch has got MCTS certification in Web Application Development. He is the team leader of the Technical Services of Software team at our Calicut branch.

Ranya N.P, the consultant of Technical Services of the same branch has also certified MCTS in Web Application Development.

• Recruitment Drive
  
  
  Our career center conducted a mega recruitment drive for Envestnet, Trivandrum for B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance candidates on 21/03/2012 at YMCA Hall, Trivandrum. Around 150 candidates participated in that drive. Selection procedures are going on.
  
  
  
  Let our career center widen its activities and conduct more recruitment drives and open the door to many more jobseekers. Well done to all the team members.

• RHCA
  
  
  RHCA is the capstone certification in Linux and it consists of four-advanced 400-level Enterprise Architect modules and an upper-level security course (RHS333). Two modules of RHCA  has been successfully completed at our Edappally branch. Rh 442 Red Hat Enterprise System Monitoring and Performance Tuning and Rh 436 RedHat Enterprise Storage Management are the modules that have been completed. 5 candidates have completed training in RH 436 and in that 4 got certified. In RH 442 seven candidates have successfully completed training. Congratulations to all the members who worked behind it.

•  Engagement Wishes
  
  The engagement of Renya N.P, the Consultant of Technical Services of IPSR Calicut branch with Mr. Prasanth was on 25/03/2012. Her marriage will be on September 2012.

  Sherin Sarah George has joined as HR Executive in the Kottayam Branch. She is a PG holder in MHRM from MA College, Ramapuram. She is the 1st rank holder in MHRM MG University examination. She has more than one year experience. She is a native of Kottayam.

WEEK IN BRIEF 12-17 March, 2012:

• Mojan.K.Iype certifies RHCDS:

Looks like the IPSR Faculty crew is on a Certification spree this month. Mojan.K.Iype, Manager-Technical Services of the IPSR Edappally branch has successfully certified RHCDS. Mojan has been working with IPSR for the past five years and is now leading the Linux Training Team in Cochin. A great Linux enthusiast, Mojan is now preparing for the RHCA certification.

Congratulations Mojan!! All the best with RHCA too!!

• Wedding bells:

Ms.Saritha.G.Pillai and Mr.Noble.C.J, both members of the IPSR OSBRC,Edappally, tied the knot today (17th March, 2012).

Congratulations to the couple and wishing them a Happy Married Life!!

• IPSR Newbies:

Ms.Bibina.B.Y has joined the IPSR Trivandrum branch in the Networking Training division. She is a B.Tech and a native of Trivandrum.

WEEK IN BRIEF 5-10 March, 2012:

• Justine George with full score:

Best performances are not a new thing in the IPSR Linux Training division and this time we have one from the Faculty Crew’s side. Justine George-Manager-Technical Services of the IPSR South Cochin branch has scored 300/300 in the RHEL 6 Exam. This full score is a rare achievement and is yet another feather in the cap for the IPSR Linux Training Team.

Mr.Justine George has been working with IPSR for the past 8 years. He is an expert Trainer in Linux and is heading the IPSR South Cochin branch.

Congratulations to Mr.Justine George!! Wishing you all the very best in your future endeavours too!

• Dileep.C certifies MCITP:

Mr.Dileep.C of the IPSR Calicut division has successfully certified MCITP. Mr.Dileep has been working in the Cisco training division in the Calicut branch for the past 6 months has now added one more certification to his kitty.

Congratulations Dileep!! May many more successes come your way!!

• IPSR Newbies:

Mr.Jebin.J.Varghese has joined the Microsoft Training division in the IPSR Trivandrum branch.He is a former student of IPSR and is a B.Tech. Jebin is a native of Konni.

 
 
 Mrs.Rejitha.V.S has joined the Networking training division in the IPSR Kottayam branch. She has nearly 11 years of experience in the Networking Training field. Rejitha is a native of Kottayam.

Mr.Jishnu.P has joined the Microsoft Training division in the IPSR Kottayam branch. Jishnu is a former IPSR student and a native of Kottayam.

Looks like no one was able to find out the person we had clued on in the last game of HR Quest. Well who it was: Ms.Anusha.M of the IPSR Calicut branch. She is a faculty in the Linux training division there.

• Wedding bells are ringing!!

Looks like January was a month of weddings here at IPSR. It all started with the wedding of Mr.Aneesh .P.V- Branch Manager, IPSR Trivandrum branch on 1st January, 2012 with Sangeetha. Next up was Ms.Akhila Ravi of the IPSR Career Centre Team who got married to Brite on 14th January. The last one on the list this month was Mr.Manoj.N.S-Team Lead of the eZcom division, IPSR Kottayam with Sreevidya on 29th January. Now that’s a great start for all these IPSRians this year!

Wishing all the newly weds a very Happy Married Life!!

Mrs.Ambily.P.S has joined the Software Training Division in the IPSR Edappally branch. She is a B.Tech and is a native of Ernakulam. She has more than 10 years’ experience in the teaching field.


 
Ms.Reeda Agnes.V.C has joined the Software Training division in the Edappally branch. She is an MCA and has nearly one year’s experience in the teaching field. She is a native of Ernakulam.

 Want to know whom we had clued you about in last Week’s HR Quest??

It is Ms.Lakshmi.K.S, Sr.Administrative Manager.Lakshmi seems to have been an active participant in various competitions right from her school days.  Looks like we have a muilti-talented team member on board IPSR!

Well we had just one comment from Arjun and yes it was the right answer! Too bad no one else is plunging into the game. :(   Anyways we will keep you posted with more clues about more IPSRians.

• Prize winner in ‘Naadanpattu’ (folk songs) competitions.

• Mohsin Hakkim certified RHCVA:

Mr.Mohsin Hakkim.A.A of IPSR Edappally Linux Training Division has successfully certified RHCVA.Mohsin has therefore added one more certification to his kitty in  addition to RHCE, MCSE and MCTS. He has been working in the Networking field for nearly 6 years now.

Congratulations Mohsin!! May you be able to reach greater heights!!

• IPSR Newbies:

Mrs.Deepa Sreekumar has joined the Software training division in the IPSR Edappally branch.She is a native of Perumbavoor and is a post graduate in Computer Science. Deepa has nearly 6 years of experience in the training field.

WEEK IN BRIEF 2 - 7 January, 2012:

• CEO’s New Year Message:

Dear IPSRians,

One more eventful year has gone by in the history of IPSR. On recollecting the various happenings of 2011, I would like to share with you all the first thought that came to my mind in this New Year. What happened TO us is not important; rather what happened THROUGH us is important. In the past year, we have faced many difficult situations and of course we have been able to tackle them with our best efforts and perseverance. But the major effect was on the people who were inspired by our relentless efforts-many became motivated to move on with their goals seeing us overcome our difficulties. We have also had our share of success stories and bagged various Awards last year. The very fact that a small company like ours has been bagging the Red Hat International Awards for many consecutive years now has inspired many young entrepreneurs too.

Yet another venture we have been carrying forward successfully is our placement services. We have been able to help numerous students by giving them a placement and a career. Quoting one of the parents of a placed student who met me, “What you are doing is a Service to God.” We can renew our strengths by knowing that we have been able to do our service for a social cause, uplifting the lives of many students and in a way their families.

Having received the Samman Patra Award was yet another significant achievement for us last year. It is nothing but a foolproof evidence of the fact that we do believe in values and we can deliver what we promise. I have come across many people who have been influenced by us in this perspective and have decided to move more ethically in their businesses.

We can definitely feel fulfilled by the fact that many people have been influenced by us in one way or the other and also feel happy that we have been able to achieve our ultimate aim of touching the lives of people for a positive growth.

Looking towards 2012 is equally inspirational as we are planning for a big leap in our services and the overall growth of IPSR. I pray that by the Grace of God Almighty we will succeed in climbing great heights this year too.

• HR Quest: Game 2:

Well all of you might have come to know about this new game. Here’s a brief rewind for those of you who haven’t played yet. In each game of the HR Quest, we will post certain clues about one of the IPSR employees. It’s then your turn to use these clues to find who this person is…just an opportunity to know something more about your colleagues…that’s all. All you have to do is keep visiting Vibrant IPSR and comment on the clues given..

Last week we had posted a set of clues about one of the IPSRians. Even though we expected some more responses from you guys we are happy to know that atleast one person is eager to know more about his colleagues….:)

So here it is.. the answer to the last week’s HR Quest.. He is Mohammed Shafnaz Hamza of the IPSR Trivandrum branch Android team. Well now we all know that we have a rock band player amongst us. Hope we will get to see him perform sometime soon…
